Robotics Software Engineer- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software for use-case scenarios using Python
- Collaborate with the development team to add new features to the robots’ core set of functionalities 150
- Integrate with hardware components, such as, but not limited to, microphones, cameras, actuators, sensors
- Contribute to projects involving computer vision, signal processing algorithms, and AI networks
- Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- As a robotics software engineer, you'll need to document code processes, and system configurations thoroughly
Skills and Qualifications
- Final year student or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with other object-oriented programming languages is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with an engineering and algorithmic mindset
- Basic knowledge of computer vision, signal processing algorithms, and AI networks
- Ability to work closely with hardware and understand hardware-software integration
- Experience with C/C++ and bare metal embedded programming is considered a plus
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies related to Robotics software engineering
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of English
